LG has announced the larger variant of its Stylo 3 smartphone. Called the LG Stylo 3 Plus, the smartphone is from LG s Stylo series and is a mid-ranger. It is currently available in the US with T-Mobile at a price of $225 (approximately Rs 14,600) without a contract. The highlight of the smartphone is embedded Stylus Pen that can be used to doodle, take notes, or simply navigate easily through the 5.7-inch full HD IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 32GB of internal storage which can be further boosted up to 2TB via microSDXC card. For photography, the LG Stylo 3 Plus features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, AutoFocus, and full HD video recording capability. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel camera with Auto Shot, Gesture Shot, Selfie Light, and Gesture Interval Shot as added features. Powering the smartphone is a 3,080mAh removable battery which is claimed to offer talktime of up to 14 hours and standby time of up to 19 days. On the software front, the LG Stylo 3 Plus runs the newer Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, USB, and GPS. There is also a rear fingerprint sensor.
In comparison, the LG Stylo 3 is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core SoC and paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is fuelled by a 3,200mAh battery, while rest of the specifications remains same as the Stylo 3 Plus.
