LG has launched a new Bluetooth stereo headset in India called the Tone Infinim. The headset will be available in all LG retail shops across the country in silver and gold variants, and is priced at Rs 10,990. The LG Tone Infinim has the company’s retractable wire management technology and has a metallic finish with a curved design. The device comes with functions such as current time alert, SMS or social message replay, speed dial, direct dial, favorite call and advanced vibration alert. It also reads out text messages to you. The battery of the LG Bluetooth Stereo headset is flashed on the smartphone it is paired with, so that user knows when to charge it. Other features include calling previously saved contacts and designated five particular contacts with the headset directly, without using the smartphone. The LG Tone Infinim can be connected via microUSB and packs a 220mAh battery, which the company claims to deliver around 17 hours of talk time, 14 hours of audio play time and around 550 hours of standby time.
Some of the features are exclusively compatible with the LG’s G3 smartphone. One of them is ‘Name Alert’, which lets a user know who is calling by announcing the caller’s name. Answer Me+ is another exclusive feature that disconnects the Tone Infinim automatically when the G3 is raised near the ear of the user for direct use.
