While the smartphone shipped with Android 7.1 Nougat, the smartphone is now getting updated to Android Oreo. The update, being released for V30+ users in India, changes the phone’s branding to LG V30+ ThinQ with AI Camera. The update comes with a build number OPRR1.170623.026 and software version V20b-IND-XX and includes security patch for the month of June.

In terms of feature enhancements, the LG V30+ ThinQ adds AI camera feature that analyzes the subjects in a frame and recommends one of four filters. The filters are based on a total of eight categories: people, pets, food, flowers, city, landscape (sea/sky), sunset or sunrise.

The update is now available to most V30+ smartphone users in India. If you cannot see the notification for OTA update then you can manually check for the update in system settings. In terms of specifications, the LG V30+ sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ P-OLED display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled withs 4GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage.
