Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is in Mumbai, where he is delivering a keynote at the company s Future Unleashed event. He is also expected to meet industry leaders, developers and entrepreneurs. Both smartphones are equipped with top of the line hardware, high-resolution cameras and Windows Hello, the biometric scanner for added security. The smartphone also comes with the much touted Continuum feature using which users can connect their smartphone to a full-size monitor. A dedicated dock will need to be bought separately to use this feature. Microsoft Lumia 950XL specifications and features: It sports a 5.7-inch QHD display (1440 2560 pixels) and is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The Lumia 950 XL is equipped with a 20-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization and triple LED flash. It supports 4K and slow motion video recording. Similar to other Lumia handsets, Microsoft has also included a dedicated camera button for capturing quick photos. Up front, a 5-megapixel selfie camera is also present.
With 32GB of onboard storage, the smartphone also supports expandable storage that supports microSD cards up to 2TB. It is equipped with a 3,300mAh battery that also supports Wireless Charging and Qualcomm s QuickCharge feature.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone is equipped with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type-C connector. While the Indian pricing is not known yet, it costs $649 in the US, which is approximately Rs 42,200.
Microsoft Lumia 950 specifications and features: It is a compact version of the Lumia 950 XL and comes equipped with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch QHD display (1440×2550 pixels). The Lumia 950 is powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
Rest of the specifications, such as onboard storage, microSD card slot, cameras and connectivity options on the Lumia 950 are the same as the Lumia 950 XL. In terms of pricing, the Lumia 950 costs $549 in India, which is approximately Rs 35,700. However, the Indian pricing isn t known yet. Both, the Lumia 950 XL and Lumia 950 will come with dual-SIM card slots in India.
