Mark Zuckerberg-

As per a new report, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg was infuriated by comments made by Apple CEO Tim Cook regarding Facebook and its handling of user data privacy. This pushed Zuckerberg to order the senior management to only use Android devices and stop using iPhones. While giving the order, Zuckerberg argued that Android had far more users than iOS.

This information was revealed by a recent article by the New York Times with the title, Deny and Deflect: How Facebook s Leaders Fought Through Crisis . The article examined Facebook s response to all the recent problems and questions surrounding the user data privacy. For some context, this was in response to a comment that Cook made during an interview with MSNBC host Chris Hayes and Recode s Kara Swisher earlier this year. The quote that is the focus of the issue stated, We re not going to traffic in your personal life.

Revisiting the interview, in addition to the above quote, Cook also added I wouldn t be in this situation as a response to the question where he was asked about what he would do if he was in Zuckerberg s shoes.

According to a report by 9to5Mac, Zuckerberg had issued a response to the statement by Cook adding that the outlook that Facebook does not care about its users because it is not asking for money to be extremely glib . He went on to add, If you want to build a service which is not just serving rich people, then you need to have something people can afford. I think it s important that we don t all get Stockholm syndrome, and let the companies that work hard to charge you more, convince you that they actually care more about you, because that sounds ridiculous to me.
