Maruti Suzuki launched its Nexa dealerships with the motive of providing customers with a premium ownership experience. Now, it has taken the next step by unveiling its first dedicated Nexa service center in Gurugram, Haryana. The Nexa service center is better equipped with the latest technology, and is largely based on digital operations. Using tech not only makes the service experience flawless, but also faster by almost 50 percent. The only chink in the armor is the 10 percent increase in the cost of servicing. Maruti Suzuki has planned to unveil 70 or more of these outlets by the end of FY’ 2017 with the majority of these clustered in top-30 cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata among others.
Maruti Suzuki is promising an intuitive and completely paperless service experience. The job cards will be shown on tablets, while all the necessities of the car will be seen online. Customers leaving their vehicles for servicing can also get a shuttle service from Nexa, which will operate at specific times during the day. Adding to the futuristic experience on offer, car owners will be able to watch a live stream of their beloved car getting serviced. Nexa app can also be downloaded by car owners that will allow them to pre-book every service mentioned above. The app can also be used for booking space in the Nexa premium waiting lounge as it can cater only to 10 to 12 customers at a time. The service centers will also become be eco-friendly, and Maruti Suzuki claims that the usage of water has been cut by 75 percent and air ventilators have been fitted to keep the service bay clear of emissions and dirt.
