From what we’ve heard till now, the Meizu 16 series of smartphones are going to come with some impressive features. Earlier reports have suggested the phones to feature a triple camera setup, 3D touch support and the most recent one states an in-display fingerprint senor. Now Jack Wong, the founder of the company has further revealed that the Meizu 16 will be coming with a special heat dissipation system working through a copper tube.
It was also revealed earlier that the Meizu 16 will be coming with the Snapdragon 845 SoC, like many other flagship smartphones. However, with a copper heat dissipation system in place, the smartphone will be able to push the processor to its maximum capability while keeping heat levels down. This means demanding applications and games will run a lot smoother on the Meizu 16. If the rumor is true, then there is a good chance that the Meizu 16 might triumph over other expensive flagships, in terms of performance.
Based on other rumors, Meizu is expected to launch two flagship variants called the Meizu 16 and the Meizu 16 Plus. Both phones are expected to feature 5.6-inch and 6.1-inch notch-less OLED screens respectively. Along with the Snapdragon 845 SoC, the phones are suggested to come in two storage and RAM configurations. The Meizu 16 is expected to come with 6GB of RAM with storage options of 64Gb and 128GB, while the Meizu 16 Plus comes with 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB and 256GB.
