Meizu is widely expected to launch the m5 Note tomorrow in China. But turns out, the company might have another smartphone up its sleeves. A few live photos of the phone have leaked, showing the smartphone in black and white color variants. Going by the rumor, the device might be called, Meizu Four, however in the latest leak, the phone comes with a codename ‘1206’. These leaked photos give us a brief idea on the design of the upcoming phone. The latest leak, spotted by GSMarena, hints at the Meizu Four might come with a 2K AMOLED Curved Edge Display. The smartphone might be powered by Exynos 8890 processor. The live photos show black and white variants revealing the front of the smartphone. Up front, we can see a physical home button which might double up as a fingerprint sensor. The images show that the smartphone will come with metal unibody design and a 2.5D glass up front. Rest of the details are not known at the moment.
In other news, Meizu is all geared up to launch the m5 Note in China tomorrow. The Meizu m5 Note will be the successor to the m3 Note, which was launched earlier this year. Recently the smartphone made its way to Geekbench and AnuTuTu benchmarking sites revealing some key information about the smartphone.
Meizu m5 Note specifications
The Meizu m5 Note will sport a full HD (1920 1080 pixels) resolution display. Under the hood the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor clocked at 1GHz. The smartphone will be available in three variants — 16GB with 2GB RAM, 32GB with 3GB RAM, and 64GB with 4GB RAM.
On the camera front, the m5 Note will come with a 13-megapixel primary camera with auto-focus, LED flash and 1080p video recording. Up front, we can expect a 5-megapixel selfie camera. On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under Flyme OS out-of-the-box.
In comparison, the m3 Note was launched with a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display, 1.8GHz MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with dual SIM, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and GPS. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Flyme OS 5.1.
