Meizu has launched the all metal variant of its m3 smartphone in China. Called the Meizu m3S, the smartphone has mostly same specifications of the original m3, but comes with a few new features such as fingerprint scanner. The m3S is available in rose gold, silver, grey and gold color options. There are two variants of the smartphone with 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM, priced at 699 Yuan (Rs 7,000 approximately) and 899Yuan (Rs 9,000 approximately) respectively. Right now there is no word on the availability of the smartphone outside China. Meizu m3S specifications and features: It features a 2.5D 5-inch HD (1280 720 pixels) display. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, and comes with 2GB/3GB of RAM. There are also 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants. Both variants come with a microSD card slot for further expansion of upto 128GB.
The smartphone sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Both front and back cameras are capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution. The smartphone comes with a 3,020mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The m3S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based Flyme OS laid on top.
