Meizu has made the M6 smartphone official in China today. The smartphone is the latest addition to the Meizu M series of smartphone, and it is a targeted at selfie enthusiasts. The smartphone will come in two variants – 16GB with 2GB RAM, and 32GB with 3GB of RAM. Prices for the Meizu M6 start from around $105 (approximately Rs 7,000) for the 16GB variant, while the 32GB variant is priced around $135 (approximately Rs 9,000). In an email conversation with BGR India, Meizu has revealed that the M6 will soon come to India. Though there is no word on an exact timeframe.
The Meizu M6 has been subjected to a number of leaks before going official. The smartphone comes with a metal unibody design, and a physical home button on the front with integrated fingerprint scanner. On the back, the M6 has a new design with antenna bands running across the top and bottom edges, with slight curves at the ends. The USP of Meizu M6 is the 8-megapixel front camera that comes with f/2.0 aperture, and a beautification algorithm from ArcSoft to click better selfies. On the back, it has a 13-megapixel RGBW camera with LED flash, and noise reduction technology powered by ArcSoft again.

The Meizu M6 has a 5.2-inch HD screen with 2.5D curved glass on top. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC, and the internal storage can be expanded using a microSD card. It houses a 3,070mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Meizu M6 comes in four color options – silver, blue, gold, and black.
