Meizu has already confirmed that it will be launching the Meizu MX6 on July 19. Along with the release date, few leaks have also revealed key specifications of the smartphone. In the latest development, new images of the device have surfaced online, revealing the design of the smartphone. The images have shown up on Weibo, showing the back and front of the handset. The images reveal that the Meizu MX6 looks quite similar to the Meizu PRO 6 except for the ring flash. The front panel shows very thin bezel spacing around the screen and also has a physical home button which looks to double up as the fingerprint scanner. While we have no official confirmation on the same, there are rumors that suggest that the Meizu MX6 could be launched for around 2,000 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 20,000.
Meizu MX6 specifications, features: From what we know so far, the MX6 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core chipset. It is expected to be available in two variants — 16GB storage with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB storage with 4GB of RAM.
As per the AnTuTu listing the smartphone will sport a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. It is also expected to feature a 4,000mAh battery, and come with a metal unibody design. On the software front, it is likely to run on Android Marshmallow wrapped under Meizu’s Flyme 5.2 UI.
