Meizu has already launched its flagship Pro 6 smartphone this year, and seems like its next launch could be the MX6. The smartphone has long been in the rumor mills, and as the name suggests, it is the successor to last year’s MX5. While Meizu is widely expected to launch the MX6 on July 19, it has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmark website, revealing its specifications and features. Meizu MX6 specifications, features: As per the listing, the MX6 is expected to feature a 5.5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and will be powered by a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core chipset. It is expected to be available in two variants — 16GB storage with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB storage with 4GB of RAM. The rumors are a bit inconsistent where the cameras are concerned. While some reports claim that it could come with a combination of 20.7-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie camera, the AnTuTu listing reveals a combination of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel cameras. It is also expected to feature a 4,000mAh battery, and come with a metal unibody design. On the software front, it is likely to run on Android Marshmallow wrapped under Meizu’s Flyme 5.2 UI.

While there is still a bit of time for the event, recent reports have also hinted at the pricing. The Meizu MX6 could be launched for around 2,000 Yuan, which is approximately Rs 20,000.

To put these rumored specs in perspective, last year’s Meizu MX5 featured a 5.5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795T octa-core 64-bit processor, and 3GB of RAM. It also came with a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus, and 4K video recording capabilities, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3,150mAh battery with fast charging capabilities, and a fingerprint scanner. The smartphone was launched for Rs 19,999 in India.
