In the latest leak, a couple of purported images of the Meizu Pro 6s have surfaced online on Weibo. These images spotted by Androidpure, show the benchmark results of the upcoming smartphone. Per the leaked images, the Meizu Pro 6s is likely to feature a full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display, and MediaTek MT6796 deca-core processor paired with Mali-T880 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The device is also expected to feature 64GB onboard storage, and will run on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box.
Interestingly, the Meizu Pro 6s was recently also spotted on GeekBench under the codename alps M92 . This benchmarking website however revealed that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz, and it will pack 3GB of RAM. There is however no word on whether the Pro 6s will get the 3D Press display that is present on the Meizu Pro 6.
Apart from these leaked specifications, we have also come across renders hinting at what the Meizu Pro 6s will look like. While the back panel of the smartphone is not visible, the front clearly shows a capsule shaped home button at the bottom and front camera along with proximity senor and the speaker grille at the top. Just like the Meizu Pro 6, the home button on the Pro 6s too is expected to double up as a fingerprint scanner.
To put these leaked information into context, the Meizu Pro 6 was launched with features like 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display covered with 2.5D curved glass, and a 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor paired with 4GB RAM. The smartphone was launched in two storage variants — 32GB and 64GB — and the storage can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
The Pro 6 also sports a 21-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera for selfies, 2,560mAh battery with mCharge 3.0 fast charging support and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G and VoLTE support, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, and USB Type-C port. On the software front, the Pro 6 runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 out-of-the-box wrapped under Flyme OS.
