Back in November last year, Meizu had teased a ‘Pro’ smartphone, and rumors pointed towards either the Meizu Pro 7 or the Pro 7 Plus. Now, a report online suggests that the Meizu Pro 7 could launch in India very soon.

According to 91mobile, the Meizu Pro 7 is expected to launch in India by the end of this month. The report also suggests that the phone will be priced under Rs 30,000. Meizu is only said to launch the Pro 7 variant, and not the ‘Plus’ variant.

The USP of the smartphone is its secondary display. The secondary display gives users easier access to notifications for calls, messages, emails and more. Apart from that it also becomes easier to click selfies with the rear camera.

The Meizu Pro 7 was launched in China last year. It is priced at RMB 2,880 (approximately Rs 27,500) for the base variant whereas the 128GB/4GB storage option retails at RMB 3,380 (approximately Rs 32,300). The smartphone is expected to be available in black, gold and red options.
