The Meizu Pro 7 is not new to the rumor mills, and we have already come across alleged leaked images of the yet-to-be-launched smartphone. Now, reports suggest that Meizu is planning to launch two new Qualcomm-powered smartphones. One of them is likely to be the Snapdragon 835-powered Meizu Pro 7, while the other will be a Snapdragon 626-powered mid-range smartphone. According to Phonearena, Meizu Pro 7 will also sport a dual-rear camera setup and will feature a curved display. However, leaked images in the past suggest that the device would be made out of titanium alloy replacing the metal in the smartphone. The overall design looks to be quite similar to the Meizu Pro 6 and Pro 6s, which launched last year.
Speaking of the Snapdragon 835 chipset under the hood, the Meizu Pro 7 will join the likes of the Sony Xperia XZ to sport this chipset. Samsung s upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ are also expected to be powered by Qualcomm s latest chipset. Other rumored smartphones to be powered by a Snapdragon 835 chipset include the Xiaomi Mi 6, Nokia 8, HTC 11, and OPPO Find 9.
Meizu Pro 7 specifications, features
Based on the leaks so far, the Meizu Pro 7 will flaunt a 5.62-inch Super AMOLED display with 2160 1080 pixels resolution. The smartphone is expected to come in three variants, which means there will be 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM variants, all of which will feature 128GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, apart from the dual-camera setup at the back, there is expected to be an 8-megapixel selfie camera for video calling. Additionally, the smartphone is said to come with mCharge 4.0 support, which can fully charge the smartphone in just 40 minutes. The rest of the specifications and features of the Meizu Pro 7 are currently unknown. In comparison, the Meizu Pro 6 features a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5D glass, 2.5GHz MediaTek Helio X25 deca-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB and 64GB onboard storage options. The smartphone also features a 21-megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus and dual-tone ring flash (10x), a 5-megapixel front camera, and 2,560mAh non-removable battery with support for mCharge 3.0 fast charging.

Previously, leaks revealed that the expected price point of the 8GB RAM variant of the Meizu Pro 7 will be RMB 3,799, which is about Rs 38,000. The 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is expected to be priced at RMB 2,699 (Rs 26,700 approximately), while the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant is likely to be priced at RMB 3,099 (Rs 30,700 approximately).
