Mercury has launched the MTab 7 in India for Rs 6,499. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 7-inch capacitive display, and is powered via an ARM Cortex A8 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Looking at the specs, the MTab7 does not look like a very high-end product. While Mercury claims it to be the best-in-class product, the blunt truth is that products like the WickedLeak Wammy Desire provide features like an ARM Cortex A9 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, long battery life and run on Android Jelly Bean.
