As mentioned above, Android One users in India are still awaiting the Lollipop update. Google had promised that the smartphones would be one of the first to get the updates. But the company has failed to stick to its promise. The company however recently announced that the update will be released in the next few weeks.
Apart from the lack of software updates, the Android One smartphones have suffered from tough competition from the likes of Motorola and Xiaomi. Buyers can now choose from smartphones in the same price range that also boast LTE capability.
