Micromax has finally made the Bharat 2 smartphone official. The Micromax Bharat 2 was recently being sold via a retailer and the smartphone has now been listed on the company s official website. Micromax has however not revealed the price of the smartphone. There aren’t any availability details mentioned either. The price of the Micromax Bharat 2 according to the mentioned retailer was Rs 3,750, but the smartphone was being sold at a discounted price of Rs 3,499. The specifications and the design of the Micromax Bharat 2 are both similar to what was revealed earlier by the said retailer. Feeding to the current trend of 4G VoLTE, Micromax aims to provide an affordable smartphone with the Bharat 2 as it goes with the tagline Har Haath 4G Smartphone. In terms of design, the Bharat 2 is clad in a polycarbonate body, sporting a light gold color. There is no physical Home button, and the front panel instead houses capacitive touch buttons. The Micromax branding is located below the rear camera lens with the speaker grille placed down below.

The Micromax Bharat 2 features a 4-inch WVGA display with a Spreadtrum SC9832 1.3GHz quad-core processor running under its hood. The smartphone comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. In the photography department, the smartphone features a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash. Up front, the smartphone houses a VGA camera for video calling and selfies. The Micromax Bharat 2 is powered by a 1,300mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. At this price point and specifications combined, the Micromax Bharat 2 would go up against the likes of Reliance Digital LYF Flame 5 which is currently the most affordable 4G VoLTE-enabled smartphone at Rs 2,999.
