Homegrown smartphone maker Micromax recently made a comeback into the list for top-five smartphone makers in the country. Now, it is trying to maintain that momentum by introducing new devices in the market. As the country gears up for the festive season, Micromax has launched two new devices in the sub-Rs 6,000 price segment – Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition.
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition, Bharat 4 Diwali Edition prices
Micromax has priced the Bharat 5 Infinity Edition and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition at Rs 5,899 and Rs 4,249 respectively. Both the devices are part of the Android Go program, and will become available in the market starting November 3. As part of launch offers, both the Micromax smartphones will be available with 25GB of 4G data from Reliance Jio. Customers buying the smartphone and activating Jio will get additional 5GB data benefits on recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 for a maximum of five recharges.
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition specifications, features
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition, in terms of hardware, sports a 5-inch display with taller aspect ratio of 18:9. It comes packed with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, and support for expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, there is a 5-megapixel shooter at the front as well as rear. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it supports face unlock along with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition specifications, features
The Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition, on the other hand, also has a 5-inch display and comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. It also supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card support. Micromax has equipped the Bharat 4 Diwali Edition with 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera.

The Bharat 4 Diwali Edition includes a 2,000mAh battery, and uses a non-hybrid SIM card slot. Both the phones run Android Oreo (Go edition), which is a stripped down version of Google’s mobile operating system that offers lighter version of core applications and uses less resources than the standard versions.
