A new Micromax smartphone has been spotted online. Called Bharat 5 Plus, it is a bigger variant of the already launched Bharat 5. Micromax launched the Bharat 5 in December last year with a price tag of Rs 5,555. Now, the Plus variant of the smartphone has been spotted on the company’s official website. Unfortunately, the company has not yet revealed the price and availability of the smartphone.
Micromax Bharat 5 Plus specifications, features
The Micromax Bharat 5 Plus is equipped with 5.2-inch HD display, and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core chipset paired with 1GB of RAM. The only difference between Bharat 5 and Bharat 5 Plus that the Plus variant comes with 32GB internal storage as opposed to 16GB storage. Both can be further expanded up to 64GB using microSD card.
For photography, the Bharat 5 Plus sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera comes with portrait mode, time lapse, panorama, and beauty mode to name a few. One of the USP of the Bharat 5 Plus is its 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims doubles up as a powerbank and can last up to 21 days on standby.
For connectivity, it comes with features like OTG support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. Other details of the smartphone are not yet known.
In comparison, the Micromax Bharat 5 features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB onboard storage. The phone also comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash, 5-megapixel selfie camera accompanied by an LED flash, and a 5,000mAh battery.
