Back in August, Micromax launched the Canvas Infinity smartphone at Rs 9,999. The USP of the smartphone was its Galaxy S8-like infinity display. Now, the homegrown company has launched yet another smartphone called Canvas Infinity Pro. The smartphone comes with some major upgrades from its predecessor and is priced at Rs 13,999. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting December 6 at 12:00AM.

Talking about the USP of the Canvas Infinity Pro, the smartphone, just like the Canvas Infinity, comes with a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels. However, the new Canvas Infinity Pro comes with a dual-camera setup at the front, which is also its USP. The dual-camera setup comes with a 20-megapixel primary camera with soft LED flash, and an 8-megapixel secondary camera.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro specifications, features

The smartphone features a 5.7-inch with 18:9 aspect ratio and 450 nits brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also a 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD.

On the camera front, there is a 16-megapixel camera at the rear with LED Flash and 1080p video recording. On the connectivity front, the phone supports 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB OTG. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone runs Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.

The smartphone will face tough competition with the likes of LG Q6, which is priced at Rs 14,990. It features a 5.5-inch FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage. For optics, there is a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens. The key drawback of the LG Q6 is that the phone misses out on the fingerprint scanner.
