Micromax has launched a new phone called the Canvas Selfie. The Canvas Selfie is a mid-range Android smartphone targeted at selfie lovers. It boasts a 13-megapixel camera at the back as well as the front, both accompanied by a dual-LED flash. The smartphone is priced at Rs 15,799 and is available via offline retailers as well e-commerce sites like Infibeam.The smartphone has some interesting design elements. The front facade features a contoured bodyline on the top and bottom along with a dual-tone color treatment. The rear is dominated by a thick chrome ring that circles around the camera lens. The Canvas Selfie flaunts a 4.7-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. As mentioned above, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel camera at the back as well as the front accompanied by a dual-LED flash. At this price point, the Micromax Canvas selfie will be up against the likes of Sony Xperia E3 and HTC Desire Eye among others.
