Micromax has launched two new big-screen 4K Ultra-HD smart televisions in India. The all new 49-inch and 55-inch 4K Micromax Android TVs are priced at Rs 51,990 and Rs 61,990 respectively. Both will be made available across India starting this month.
These are the company’s first ever Google certified Android televisions. Micromax says that these come with Google’s official Play Store, games, movies, music and the package. The Micromax Android TV come with built-in Chromecast and Google Assistant with voice-enabled search. These offer 4K Ultra-HD resolution with high-dynamic range (HDR) technology, which is claimed to deliver more crisp and better picture quality.

These new Micromax Android TVs come with a ‘Pure Sound Technology’ which is DOLBY and DTS certified. The smart TV boats two 12 watts speakers along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity features. These are listed to run latest Android, but there is no clarity on the OS version.
Micromax claims that these are Eco Energy efficient televisions with low power consumption. It feature Cortex-A53 processor coupled with 2.5GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB EMMC flash storage for apps and other processes.
