The press invite says that Micromax is going to introduce a new level of multitasking . As mentioned above, the Indian smartphone vendor is most likely going to launch the ultra-affordable smartphone. While details are sketchy, we came across a leaked photo that gives the smallest of glimpses at the forthcoming smartphone. It seems to boast a metallic frame, and will go on sale via Flipkart.
Micromax of late has launched a couple of impressive affordable smartphones, including the Canvas Spark and the Unite 3. The Canvas Spark is on sale via Snapdeal, and features a 4.7-inch qHD display, 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6582 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, and microSD card slot.
It also features an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel selfie camera, 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The Unite 3, on the other hand, comes with a unique keyboard that helps users translate and transliterate text in Indian languages easily with just a swipe. As for specifications, it features a 4.7-inch WVGA IPS display, 1.3GHz MediaTek (MTK6582M) quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, and microSD card slot.
Additionally, it also features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front camera, 2,000mAh battery, and connectivity options like 3G support, dual-SIM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the software front, it too runs on Android Lollipop.
