Back in December, Micromax released a new Vdeo series of smartphones, which were entry-level Android smartphones with 4G VoLTE support. After launching the Vdeo 1 and Vdeo 2 smartphones last month, Micromax Vdeo 3 smartphone has now been listed on the company’s official website. Now, the website does list the smartphone, unveiling some specification and features of the smartphone, but the price of the Vdeo 3 is not mentioned yet.
Of course, as is the primary feature of the Vdeo series, the Vdeo 3 also ships preloaded with Google Allo and Duo messaging applications. It runs on Android Marshmallow. Along with that, the Vdeo 3 also comes bundled with a Reliance Jio 4G SIM, which gives users free data and voice calling till March 2017, under the Happy New Year offer. It may be recalled Reliance Jio recently introduced a Happy New Offer, extending freebies till March 31, 2017. Under Jio’s new scheme, users get free voice and video calling, unlimited SMS, and unlimited 4G data (1GB per day).
The Micromax Vdeo 3 comes with a 5-inch display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The smartphone features brushed metal finish body. Additionally, from what the teaser reveals, the smartphone will come in two color variants, champagne and white, both of which will sport a removable back cover. This listing is essentially a teaser post of the smartphone, and the full specs, pricing and availability of Micromax Vdeo 3 are yet to be revealed. However, analysing its predecessor, Micromax Vdeo 1 was launched with a 4-inch WVGA display. Under the hood is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. There is also 8GB of internal storage along with a microSD card slot to further expand the memory up to 128GB. On the photography front, it has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie camera. Armed with 1,600mAh battery, the smartphone comes with connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and VoLTE. The smartphone will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
The Micromax Vdeo 2 smartphone, on the other hand, comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 1GB of RAM. There is also 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD. On the photography front, the smartphone comes with 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and VoLTE. Armed with 1,800mAh battery, the smartphone also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
