At a time when we expect other vendors to launch their respective Android 4.0 tablets at sky high prices, maybe we should thank our home-grown brand Micromax for bringing us an Android ICS tablet at an ultra-low price tag. We don’t know if its a marketing gimmick or what but the Indian vendor has silently made its first Android ICS tablet available online for just Rs 7,999. The tablet is named as the Booklet P-300 ICS and happens to be same device whose renders had leaked last month.

As expected, this device sports a 7-inch capacitive display, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage extensible up to 32GB and offers 1080p HD video recording. As of now, the online retailer shows that the tablet is “out-of-stock” and has also apparently removed its image, tech specs along with its official name. We expect Micromax to officially launch this tablet by the end of this month.
