Acompli is a fairly popular email app available for iOS and Android. The app, which was founded by Zendesk and VMWare veterans, aims to help people find the most important emails in their inbox, and avoid unnecessary noise. It also lets users decide when they want to respond to a particular email. Also Read - Top 5 Minecraft Mobile seeds to build a world and where to find them
It also offers support for Microsoft Exchange, a major plus feature for the company to lure in business customers as most third-party apps typically don t offer such functionality. There s also a one-tap integration with calendars, and an easy way to check the recently emailed files and contacts. Furthermore, it also lets users attach files directly from Google s Drive, Dropbox, and Microsoft s OneDrive.
In a world where more than half of email messages are first read on a mobile device, it s essential to give people fantastic email experiences wherever they go … We re excited about what s possible as we build on [Accompli’s] success and bring it together with work currently in progress by the Outlook team.”
The company said that Acompli apps will now work closer with Outlook, but will continue to offer support for non-Microsoft emails.
