Existing Xbox 360 owners who buy a new Airtel broadband connection will get Rs 4,888 off and a three month membership for Xbox LIVE gold.
People who already have Airtel Broadband can get a new Xbox 360 and get 10 free games and a 12 month membership for Xbox LIVE gold worth Rs 10,699. Additionally they will save up to Rs 4,888 on an Airtel Broadband upgrade.
It s worth noting that this could be a ploy to increase the shelf-life of the Xbox 360, as last night Microsoft sent out invites for an event in Redmond where it will unveil the next generation of the console. That said, the next Xbox will not be available before November and traditionally Microsoft has never included India as one of the launch markets for its console. However, things have greatly changed since the Xbox 360 was launched back in 2005 and now India is recognized as a viable gaming market.
