Microsoft will host an event later today in Berlin, where it is expected to take the wraps off the Nokia Lumia 730 and the Lumia 830 smartphones. The event will be streamed live on Nokia’s Conversations blog and you can access it here. As mentioned above, the company is believed to be unveiling the Lumia 730 and the Lumia 830 at the event. The Nokia Lumia 730 (codenamed Superman) is set to be the company’s first selfie smartphone boasting a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Apart from the selfie camera, the smartphone is also expected to feature a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 6.5-megapixel rear camera, 8GB internal storage and a 2,000mAh battery. On the software front, it will run on Windows Phone 8.1. Additionally, reports claim that the Lumia 730 could feature a Nano SIM, Qi wireless charging, microSD card support and 4G LTE support. The Nokia Lumia 830 (codenamed Tesla), on the other hand, is the result of the company’s efforts to bring the PureView camera to affordable handsets. It is expected to feature a 10-megapixel PureView camera at the back, Snapdragon 800 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage and a 1,650mAh battery.
