As expected, Microsoft has confirmed its head of cloud services Satya Nadella as the company’s new CEO. Nadella will be the successor of the earlier CEO Steve Ballmer, who announced his retirement early last year. With this announcement, Nadella has become the third CEO of Microsoft. India-born Satya Nadella, who was till now heading Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group, was one of the strongest candidates from a list of other prominent personalities from within as well as outside the company which were listed for the post of Microsoft’s CEO.
