At day two of Build 2017 developer conference in Seattle, Microsoft announced the next major update for Windows 10 called Fall Creators Update. The software giant also announced Fluent Design System, a design language for writing apps for Windows. The new app also brings the ability to create visually rich content. It also comes with collaborative tools allowing you to share footage with your colleagues and friends to build something unique. You can add special effects, import 3D images from Paint 3D or Remix3D community, add soundtracks, transitions and annotations as well. Microsoft also demonstrated the same on the stage with an example of footage from soccer game. The demo included adding fireballs and explosions to enhance the video. And to create all this, you just need a few clicks. In short, it s more like Windows Movie Maker, but with simple and enhance functionality. Windows Story Remix is built using XAML and .NET, and it is being distributed to developers as a part of Universal Windows app. This also makes it compatible with Microsoft s recently announced education-focused Windows 10 S OS. What s more, the app will also be available across iOS and Android platform, thus catering to a wider audience. The app will be available later this year.
