Microsoft may not have had the best run when it came to their Windows phones which was probably the reason why the company declared the product dead last year. But their stock of the phones were not over and Microsoft continued to sell them on its official website. And now that the company has sold out all its stock of the Windows phone, we may say that the chapter of Windows phones is over, for now. With the stock number hitting zero figures today, it is expected that the company will not be replenishing its stocks. This is a deafening din in the story of the Windows phone with its own models plus the other unavailable models like the $299 (Rs 19,744 approx) HP Elite x3, $99.99 ( Rs 6,600 approx) Alcatel Idol 4s, or the $169 (Rs 11,160) bundle of Idol 4s with VR goggles.
The stocks of the Microsoft Windows phones took quite a while to sell out owing to the fact that the devices were not that popular in the first place. Microsoft had put in place quite a few price cuts to help the devices sell better as well. But if you are one of those ardent fans who would want to get their hands on one of those last devices available, you may head over to the physical Microsoft Stores as they might still have some on stock. Some third party sellers may have some units left as well, which may also be an option for some people.
