Microsoft integrates Skype's voice and video chats into Office and Outlook

According to The Next Web, this will make it easier to communicate when actively making modifications to a file. But, if the users do choose to use messages, then Skype will connect their message history to the document, so the users can pick up from where they left off last time they opened a document. In addition, Microsoft is making it easier to access its Web Office Suite with the help of a new Chrome extension for Office which now allows the users to open a variety of Office documents right within Chrome, whether they are stored in OneDrive or their computer.

The improved Skype integration has been released on Office Online and in the US and other regions are coming soon.

Last month Microsoft launched new interactive videos and moving emoticons for India specific audience. The new interactive videos named Mojis by Skype, are the first-of-a-kind very small clips of video (both Bollywood and Hollywood) that the company claims will revolutionize chat platforms.
