They come with an AC-60 wall charger with 1.5A output, which the company claims charges the 5,000mAh power bank in 160 minutes, the 9,000mAh power bank in 280 minutes, and the 12,000mAh power bank in 380 minutes.

Microsoft says these power banks are capable of holding their power for several months. In essence, if you were to leave a fully-charged power bank, it will still retain up to 80 percent of the charge after several months. To check the power level of the portable charger, there are four LED indicators.

As mentioned above, the power banks go on sale in select countries in the coming weeks. In countries like India though, these power banks will face stiff competition from Xiaomi’s Mi Power Banks. There are three power banks on sale — 5,000mAh, 10,400mAh and 16,000mAh. These are priced at Rs 699, Rs 999 and Rs 1,399 respectively, which is way cheaper than Microsoft’s new portable chargers.
