A new entry-level smartphone with Lumia branding seems to be in the works. The Microsoft Lumia 435 recently made an appearance on the certification website FCC in Indonesia. First spotted by NokiaPowerUser, the smartphone apparently comes in several variants, namely RM-1070, RM-1071, RM-1034, RM-1068 and the RM-1032, of which the latter two support dual-SIM.
The listing also gave away crucial hardware information about the said device. The Lumia 435 sports a 4-inch (480×800 pixels) display with 235ppi pixel density, and is powered by a Snapdragon 200 processor. The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel rear-facing snapper, and as per its dimensions it is 118.1×64.7mm in size.
From the specifications and surfaced image, the smartphone is likely to supersede the Lumia 520, the most successful Windows Phone handset to date. Interestingly, the phone has also been imported to India for testing purposes. The import-export site Zauba has entries that reveal that BV-5J battery, which is exclusive to the Lumia 435 was imported to India last month. The very same day, ten dual-SIM smartphones matching Lumia 435 were also imported.
