It comes with a 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display with a pixel density of 267 PPI (6 million pixels). Just like the Surface Pro 4, the Surface Book is covered with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 4 to keep scratches at bay. The Surface Book is elegant laptop with a premium built. The screen can also be detached to use as a tablet. Microsoft claims that its Surface Book is two times faster than the Apple’s MacBook Pro and is also the fastest 13-inch laptop in the market and its battery is good enough to last for up to 12 hours. The Surface Book price starts at $1,499 (approximately Rs 97,500). Pre-orders start from October 7 and will be available starting October 26. However, there is no word on India launch price and availability.
