By far, Microsoft s creative genius in terms of PC innovation appears to be limited to stylus and touchscreen. New Paint app: From hardware to software; Microsoft is speculated to introduce a new Paint app for Windows 10 that has been redesigned to be a Universal Windows app with pen-and touch-friendly features along with the ability to create 3D objects. Amazon Echo competitor: After Google s jump into the hardware ecosystem, it is evident that Microsoft will not stay behind in the race. The event might as well see a separate HomeHub device that builds on Cortana s AI abilities and competes with Amazon Echo and the Google Home. The voice-activated speaker is said to include the ability to store files on the device, and respond to questions just like Amazon s Alexa.
We will have to wait and watch till Microsoft executives take to stage to introduce all that is coming from the software giant s kitty this October.
