System requirements for Windows 8 are the same as Windows 7, so each and every PC running Windows 7 will be easily upgradeable to Windows 8. Notably, Microsoft has dramatically reduced the number of flavors of Windows. With Windows 8 there are only three versions – Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8 (which will only be available via pre-installed on PCs till February 1, 2013) and Windows RT, a version of Windows that is tailored for systems running ARM processors.
