MS-DOS Mobile goes back to the basics, and in essence focuses on combining the simple UI of the DOS platform with the Lumia smartphone touchscreens. All the files and applications are stored at C:\PROGRAMS\PHONE, and you can access them by typing in the relevant command. So typing in commands like camera.exe, internet.exe, or email [address] will launch the email client and you can send an email to the mentioned address. Other commands include Map, market, phone, search cortana, among others. Microsoft has also brought back the original DOS commands like color, cls, date, time, type, ver, and echo.
