Xiaomi has started rolling out the latest version of its customized operating system, MIUI 7, for its smartphones and tablets starting today. The MIUI 7 is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and will be available for most of the Xiaomi devices.Xaiomi has rolled out the MIUI 7 update to seven device outside of China: Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Pad, Mi Note, Redmi 1S 3G, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2 Prime. The new update brings in a lot of new features including SMS filter, XXL Text, facial recognition in the Camera roll, and an auto DND feature. Xiaomi has also introduced a special Child Mode, where MIUI 7 makes use of face recognition technology to automatically identify babies and group their photos together.

Back in August Xiaomi rolled out MIUI 7 Beta ROM for users to test it. MIUI 7 introduces four new system user interfaces rose, pink blush, ocean breeze, and high life. It is also said to increase the smartphone s speed by up to 30 percent and battery life by up to 10 percent. It lets users skip annoying voice prompts with Interactive Visual Response (IVR), and is available for banking, booking air tickets and more from 50 Indian partners.
