The Moto C and Moto C Plus are company’s cheapest smartphones to launch this year, priced at Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999, respectively. Both the smartphones run on Android Nougat 7.0 and offer entry-level specifications without burning hole in your pocket. Moto C vs Moto C Plus: Features and specifications
Both Moto C and Moto C Plus look similar in design, expect the later one offers slightly different specifications. The Moto C and Moto C Plus both feature a plastic built body. The smartphones have camera ring place in the top center of the rear panel with LED flash placed inside the camera ring itself.
While Moto C Plus offers a 5 inch HD (720p) IPS display, the Moto C smartphone has got a 5-inch FWVGA display offering lower resolution than the Moto C Plus. This means Moto C Plus with 1280×720 pixels resolution offers better display experience than Moto C which only offers an 854×450 resolution. Also, a major upgrade is noted in the battery capacity on both the smartphone. In terms of specifications, Moto C Plus runs on a 1.35Ghz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. In comparison, Moto C is powered by a 1.1Ghz MediaTek MT6737 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM. Both the smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, Moto C Plus has an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, and auto-focus. On the front is has a 2-megapixel selfie snapper with LED flash as well. On the other hand, Moto C only has 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, fixed focus and it has 2 -megapixel camera for selfies as well. While both primary cameras on Moto C and Moto C Plus offer support for 720p recording, it is Moto C Plus which is better specced in comparison.
