The first smartphone in Motorola’s lineup to boast a massive battery, the Moto E4 Plus, is set to launch today in India. The USP of the smartphone is its 5,000mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to two days on a single charge. Moto E4 Plus will be sold exclusively via Flipkart, and the e-commerce platform recently posted a teaser suggesting the smartphone could be available for purchase soon after the official launch. The Moto E4 Plus has been available in some international markets along with the Moto E4. Although Motorola India does not specify if the Moto E4 will be launched today, recently the phone was spotted with a retail price of Rs 8,999. If one talks about the design of the smartphone, then the Moto E4 Plus, as well as the Moto E4, are quite reminiscent of the Moto G5 series with a front fingerprint sensor, which is embedded into the home button and water repellent nano coating. The Moto E4 Plus features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, Qualcomm s Snapdragon 427 quad-core processor, and it is likely to be launched in two variants — 2GB RAM + 16GB internal storage, and 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage. There is also support for microSD card for storage expansion up to 128GB.
In the photography department, the Moto E4 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. Up front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calling. On the software front, the Moto E4 Plus runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.1 and Wi-Fi.

Unlike the Moto E4 Plus, the Moto E4 boasts a smaller 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. On the software front, the Moto E4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
