Last week, Motorola started teasing the imminent launch of a new smartphone in India. Now, the company has confirmed that it plans on launching the Moto E5 Plus in the country on July 10.
The Lenovo-owned company has sent out a save-the-date that clearly reveals the India launch date of the Moto E5 Plus. The poster also confirms that the upcoming smartphone will be exclusively available on Amazon India. The smartphone will also be available offline via the various Moto Hubs across the country.
The Moto E5 Plus was launched earlier this year at an event in Brazil. As the name suggests, this will be the successor to the Moto E4 Plus. The predecessor was launched in June last year, and is currently available for Rs 8,999. In comparison, the Moto E5 Plus was launched for $210, which roughly translates to Rs 13,900. It will be interesting to see how aggressive Motorola is with the pricing in India.
