We had heard a lot about Moto G (2014) 4G LTE variant, which Motorola quietly launched in Brazil, earlier this year. While there was no word on the Indian availability then, the company is finally bringing the smartphone in India.
Similar to other Motorola smartphones, the Moto G (2014) 4G LTE will be available exclusively via Flipkart for Rs 8,999. With Flipkart’s Big Billion Day starting from tomorrow, October 13, the Moto G (2014) 4G LTE version will be up for pre-order starting October 15 at 12 PM. It’s a limited edition version with limited stocks, so make sure you pre-order yours before stock ends.
Moto G (2014) 4G LTE specifications and features: The smartphone sports a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor. Also on the offer is 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot for further expansion.
On the photography front, it comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. At the time of launch, the smartphone was shipped with Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box in Brazil, but it’s not clear if the Indian variant will come with Android KitKat or Lollipop.
Other specifications remain the same as the Moto G (2014) except a couple of differences. The biggest difference is obviously the addition of dual SIM 4G LTE network capabilities. Other changes include a slightly larger 2,390mAh battery (compared to 2,070mAh on the 3G variant).
