Last week, we came across a rumor that Motorola s 2016 mid-range smartphone would be called as Moto G4. Now, according to the latest rumor, seems like Motorola is working on two new smartphones Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The photos show off the front panel which bears striking similarities from the previously leaked blurry photo of the Moto X successor. Also seen in the photo is a square shape physical home button, which likely comes integrated with a fingerprint scanner. This reaffirms the revelation that was made by Chen Xudong, SVP of Lenovo and president for Lenovo China and Asia Pacific that all 2016 Moto smartphones will feature a fingerprint scanner. The other photo shows off the back of the smartphone with Motorola logo and a vertical strip camera module design. It houses the camera module, LED flash and two dots, which could be the laser auto-focus setup. The Moto G4 Plus is also likely to come with the same design, with slight change in specifications.

Roland Quandt of WinFuture had also tweeted rough specifications of both devices. According to his tweet, the Moto G (fourth generation) would pack a 5.5-inch display, 16GB of onboard storage and a 13-megpaixel camera, whereas the Plus variant could pack the same 5.5-inch display, 16GB of onboard storage and slightly higher resolution 16-megapixel camera. At this point, there is no way to verify these claims, but if there is any truth in the rumors, more details could pour in the coming weeks.
