Lately, rumor mills have been busy with leaks relating to the much anticipated Motorola smartphones, the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. Ahead of the official launch at the MWC 2017, a lot of details about the two smartphones have already surfaced. Now, renders of what are believed to be the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones have been spotted online. Talking about the design, the renders are in line with the previous rumors that Moto G5 Plus comes with a metal unibody. The renders also reveal a camera hump on the rear on the Plus model whereas the G5 has a flatter camera setup on the back. According to the listing, the smartphones are likely to be available in ‘lunar grey’ and ‘fine gold’ color options. One of the major things about the new Moto G5-series is that the phones come with ‘Lenovo’ branding on the side – which is a first for Moto smartphones so far. Moto G5 specifications
The Moto G5 is going to have a smaller display as compared to the G5 Plus as has been the tradition for Moto G phones. Going by rumors so far, the smartphone will come with a 5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. It is expected to be fuelled by a 2,800mAh battery and run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Moto G5 Plus price
The Moto G5 Plus is said to be priced around $300, which is approximately Rs 20,400. While for the India, the smartphone is said to launch sometime in March after the MWC 2017 and will be priced slightly lesser at $230, which is approximately Rs 15,600.

According to the rumors, the Moto G5 Plus is said to come with a 5.2-inch display, which is contradictory to earlier reports that suggested the smartphone could feature a 5.5-inch display. It will have an AMOLED display with full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Under the hood, the smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It is expected to come in two storage options of 16GB and 32GB. In the photography department, the Moto G5 Plus is expected to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, along with a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. Again, certain reports claim that the smartphone will come with a 12-megapixel rear camera with ‘Rapid Focus’.
It is expected to be fuelled by either a 3,080mAh battery or a 3,000mAh battery with Turbo Charging support. It is also expected to come with NFC support. The Moto G5 Plus is further said to run Android 7.0 Nougat with some features from Motorola Experience including Moto Assist, Moto Display, and Moto Actions. The Moto G5 Plus features an IP67 certification rating. This means that the device can be be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for as long as 30-minutes.
