Seeing as the smartphone is in testing, a wider roll-out of the Android update is likely to be close. Android Oreo will bring in performance and security improvements to the Moto G5. There will also be some new features like split-screen capabilities, smart text selection, improved notifications, auto fill framework, and Google Play Protect.
