Moto G5S Midnight Blue color variant launched in India for Rs 14,999

The Moto G5S was previously available in Fine Gold and Lunar color options.

Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched a new color variant of the Moto G5S smartphone. Priced at Rs 14,999, the color variant will be available across all retail stores and Moto Hubs starting today. With Diwali just around the corner, Motorola is also offering a special Rs 2,000 off till October 21, bringing the price down to Rs 12,999.

Commenting on the launch, Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director of Motorola Mobility India said, “We continue to offer products that enhance our customers’ experiences. This festive season, we have come up with the new contemporary color variant that will connect with our new-age customers’ sense of style and offer them the opportunity of being a part of the most popular Moto family in the country.”

Moto G5s specifications and features

For photography, the Moto G5S sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF and LED flash. For selfies, the smartphone features a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera of f/2.0 aperture and LED flash too. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,000mAh battery with support for TurboPower charging. The bigger variant of the Moto G5s, the Moto G5s Plus, is available on Amazon India at a discounted price of Rs 16,999. The smartphone comes with dual-camera setup, Android Nougat out-of-the-box, 4GB of RAM, and 3,000mAh battery.
