Both smartphones are likely seeing a launch alongside the Moto Z Force on July 25. Today, we have come across some more details about the upcoming Moto G5s Plus. According to Venturebeat, the Moto G5s Plus will be more premium looking device because of the material used. In place of plastic, Motorola is likely to opt for anodized aluminium. The report also mentions that the smartphone will feature enhanced imaging capabilities
In terms of design, the Moto G5S Plus is said to come with a physical home button with the fingerprint sensor. The front camera is said to be accompanied by a selfie flash. The rear panel has a circular protruding camera setup with the dual flash. Under the camera is the Motorola logo. Additionally, both the smartphones have recently also passed FCC. Other leaks suggest that the Moto G5s Plus is expected to be priced in the Rs 18,999 to Rs 19,999 bracket. When asked about the launch date leakster Andri Yatim, he said the smartphones are ready and might be launched soon.
In terms of specifications, the Moto G5S Plus is said to feature a 5.5-inch FHD display while the smaller version, the Moto G5s might feature a 5.2-inch FHD display. Both the smartphones will run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. The phones might launch in grey, gold, and blue color variants. Both the smartphones are said to be powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 clocked at 2.0GHz paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. In terms of optics, the G5s Plus is expected to sport a 13-megapixel replacing a 12-megapixel camera component in the G5 Plus. The front camera will also see an upgrade in resolution, from 5-megapixel in the G5 Plus to 8-megapixel in G5s Plus. That rear camera sensor might also come with features such as the bokeh effect, background replacement, and the display of selective elements in black-and-white. Other details about the smartphone are not known at the moment.
To put things into perspective, the Moto G5 Plus was launched with 5.2-inch FHD display with Snapdragon 625 chipset. The phone sport a 12-megapixel rear camera with a 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is armed with a larger 3,000mAh battery.
