After the launch of the Moto G6 range in Brazil in April this year, Lenovo-owned Motorola has brought two of the phones in the range to India. Today, the company launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play, with prices starting from Rs 13,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. The Moto G6 will go on sale exclusively via Amazon India, while the Moto G6 Play will be exclusively available via Flipkart. Both phones will also be available through the company’s network of Moto Hub offline stores.
For the time being, only the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play have been launched in India, with the Moto G6 Plus not being launched in India just yet. The more expensive Moto G6 Plus comes with a larger screen, as well as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, and up to 6GB of RAM. The pricing is also expected to be much higher, and Motorola’s decision to launch only the two more affordable devices is likely due to the pricing factor.
